October 2026: The Arcade Archivist

Player 8 has entered the game. AtariNights.com now covers Florida: 60 retro arcades, barcades, pinball lounges, and playable museums across 9 regions and 41 cities, from a two-story free play arcade in Delray Beach to a playable pinball museum in Tarpon Springs.

Every venue on this list has at least 8 pinball machines on the floor. Florida is our biggest launch yet, tied with Texas, and it covers the whole peninsula: Pensacola to Miami, Jacksonville to Fort Myers.

Florida by the Numbers

  • 60 venues across 9 regions and 41 cities
  • 15 run on free play: pay once at the door, play everything
  • 11 in Central Florida, 11 in Northeast Florida, 10 around Tampa Bay
  • The biggest single collection: around 87 pinball machines at a Fort Myers warehouse

South Florida and the Treasure Coast (11 venues)

Start in Delray Beach at Silverball Retro Arcade: two floors, more than 70 pinball machines from the 1950s to today, and all of them on free play with an entry pass. In Kendall, Arcade Odyssey packs rows of classic upright and sit-down cabinets next to around 20 pins, including Terminator 2 and the Data East Star Wars. Satellite Pinball Lounge in Oakland Park is small, token-operated, and well kept. Arcade Time Entertainment has locations in Miami and Wellington, and Dezerland Park North Miami adds a pinball corner to its indoor park.

Up the coast, Bumpers Pinball in Vero Beach runs around 20 machines, and Play Money Pinball Arcade Bar has two Treasure Coast locations: Stuart and a free play room in Fort Pierce. Stix Billiard Club in Stuart keeps a row of premium tables by the pool tables.

Central Florida and the Space Coast (13 venues)

Skip the theme park lines for an afternoon. Arcade Time Entertainment Orlando on International Drive has around 58 pinball machines and an all-you-can-play pass, and Arcade Monsters International Drive is just up the road. Orlando-area players will send you to Oviedo, though: The Pinball Lounge @Oviedo Bowling Center keeps around 42 machines in excellent shape, including Gorgar, Flash Gordon, and Attack From Mars, and District Eat & Play and Arcade Monsters Oviedo are minutes away. Near Lake Buena Vista, Player 1 Video Game Bar mixes classic cabinets with Twilight Zone and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Out in Winter Haven, Robocade is a family free play arcade with 1970s pinball like Air Aces and Hi-Lo Ace. On the Space Coast, Arcade Monsters Melbourne runs around 26 pins and a wall of Japanese arcade cabinets until 2am.

Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida (13 venues)

Replay Museum in Tarpon Springs is the Gulf Coast’s playable museum: around 66 machines, all on free play with admission. St. Petersburg has two spots with pins maintained by Kinetic Pinball, Right Around the Corner and The Potion Portal, and you’ll find more at Lowry Parcade in Tampa, Reboot Dunedin, and T&T Trinity Arcade Bar. South of the bay, Ballerz Pinball Cafe in Bradenton and Arcade Monsters Lido Beach in Sarasota close out the coast.

In Fort Myers, The Pinball Asylum holds the biggest count in the state, around 87 machines, open for weekend play with a monthly league. Down the road, Riptide Brewing pours beer next to around 18 pins, from 1970s Williams and Gottlieb to new Sterns.

North Florida and the Panhandle (23 venues)

St. Augustine is a pinball crawl all its own: Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum for free play classics, then Sarbez!, Alfred’s, and South-A-Philly Steaks & Hoagies, all within a few miles. Down the coast in Ormond Beach, Flip’s runs around 30 machines and Cafe One Pinball Diner serves breakfast next to 22 more. In Jacksonville, start at LeaderBoard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria (39 machines, with a second location in Orange Park), then hit Tepey’s Taps & Tacos and Keg N Coin.

Gainesville brings Bragging Rights Amusements, with hundreds of classic arcade games and around 50 pins for one entry fee, plus the downtown Arcade Bar. Out west, Flippin’ Great Pinball in Tallahassee’s Railroad Square and District 850 cover the capital, Point Break Arcade and Fun-Land Arcade & Snack Bar hold down Panama City, and The Grid Arcade Bar in Pensacola, Static Age Pinball Arcade in Freeport, plus RadBar and the brand-new Galactic Arcade in Fort Walton Beach round out the Panhandle.

The Archivist’s Note: Florida Plays on Admission

Key Take: Fifteen of the venues on this list skip the coin slot entirely. Silverball, Replay Museum, Robocade, Point Break, Bragging Rights, and ten more charge one admission and set every machine to free play. It changes how you play. With nothing riding on each ball, you stop playing safe and start learning the table: the ramps you never tried, the modes you never reached. For a state built on vacation days, it’s a smart deal: pay once, stay all afternoon, and walk out a better player.

Know Before You Go

  • Check the hours. Several of the best rooms, including The Pinball Asylum and Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum, open only on certain days. Each listing says when.
  • Mind the age rules. Player 1 goes 21+ at 8pm and T&T Trinity at 9pm, and Alfred’s pinball room is 18+.
  • Bring cash for token rooms. Satellite Pinball Lounge and Gainesville’s Arcade Bar run on tokens.

How We Built the Florida Directory

Every venue was researched and cross-checked against multiple sources, including venue websites and community pinball databases, before it went live. No venue pays to be included. If we got something wrong, or missed your favorite spot, submit a venue and we’ll review it.
